The 2021 edition of the Abierto Mexicano Acapulco will run from March 15th - 17th with an overall financial commitment of $1,204,960.
Despite not getting Rafael Nadal to come back and defend his title the Abierto Mexicano Acapuclo will still put forward a strong event headlined by some of the best in the world in Stefanos Tsitsipas and Alexander Zverev. An overall financial commitment of $1,204,960 is certainly a drew as are the points to be won considering this is an ATP 500 event. 
Many other great players will also play at this event such as former Champion Grigor Dimitrov who won this event in 2014 as well as Diego Schwartzman, Milos Raonic, Fabio Fognini, and Felix Auger-Aliassime who will be eyeing that trophy.
The eventual champion of the event will win $88,940 dollars as well as 500 ATP Points. The runner-up will bag $65,760 and 300 ATP points. The semifinalists will bag $46,830 and 180 ATP points.
