2021 Astana Open Nur-Sultan Draw including Karatsev, Bublik and Musetti

The Astana Open returns in 2021 with its 2nd edition running from September 20th till September 26th featuring Karatsev, Bublik and Musetti.

The ATP event is coming back in 2021 with its 2nd edition to be held next week from September 20th till September 26th. The event is an ATP 250 event that was first held last year and John Millman is the defending champion. The 2021 edition will feature a much-improved field that will be headlined by Karatsev and Bublik.

Top seed Aslan Karatsev has a 1st round BYE but the Russian generally has a very tough draw with a 2nd round match against either Ruusuvouri or Bonzi. Both are great indoor players and have been having excellent years so far. A possible quarterfinal against Ilya Ivashka is another tricky proposiion for Karatsev.

2nd seed Alexander Bublik also has a BYE but his draw is a bit easier. He will either face Miomir Kecmanovic or Fernando Verdasco in the 2nd round and both should be beatable for Bublik. The native player will hope to advance to the final in order to claim the title and give some joy to the Kazakhstani fans. Check out the draw below.
