2021 BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells Masters Day Five Schedule of Play with Tsitsipas, Halep, Fernandez and Murray vs Alcaraz

The 5th day of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells brings us the best schedule to date with Tsitsipas, Halep, Fernandez on the court along with the match of the day between Murray and Alcaraz.

The Indian Wells Masters promises a proper tennis show for day 5 with a schedule looking as good as any. The programme will kick off at 20:00 CET and right of the bat we have four very interesting matches in the ATP draw. Anderson - Sonego, Berrettini - Tabilo, Millman - Sinner and Monfils - Mager all promise to be exceptional matches.

They also all feature at least one Italian who usually thrive on slower courts so it should be fun. After that, we will have a proper delight with Andy Murray taking on Carlos Alcaraz. A proper clash of styles would yield some amazing rallies on these courts especially if Alcaraz brings his bonkers shot-making. Alex Zverev against Jenson Brooksby promises to be another great match before we move on to the night session where Tsitsipas awaits Martinez.

On the WTA side of the draw, we will start with Iga Swiatek against taking on Kudermetova after which Svitolina takes on Cirstea. Simona Halep and Sasnovich will play at 00:00 CET and while the Belarussian earned her spot here fans will be disappointed in not seeing Raducanu take on Halep. The night session will feature some proper bangers with Kvitova taking on Azarenka at 03:00 CET.

Another great one will be between Jessica Pegula and Jasmine Paolini who defeated Elise Mertens in the previous round. The Italian is capable of smashing the ball hard and with Pegula employing a similar style there should be plenty of strong rallies and great winners. The final match of the day is between US Open finalist Leylah Fernandez and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.
