The BNP Paribas Open is coming to a close with only a handful of matches left to be played and today we will see Tsitsipas and Zverev headline day 10 at the event.

The two remaining ATP quarterfinals will be played today at the BNP Paribas Open with two WTA semifinals also on the schedule. The programme will kick off at 20:00 CET and it will be Stefanos Tsitsipas against Nikoloz Basilashvili. Both of these players have played well so far yet neither of them was spectacular. Tsitsipas has been dealing with cold-like symptoms which complicated several of his matches. He will need to be very sharp today if he hopes to avoid a disaster against Basilashvili.

After that match, we will get the 2nd semifinal where Alexander Zverev will take on Taylor Fritz. The American has played the best even of his career so far with some inspiring tennis against strong opposition. Fritz is playing fearless hitting the ball very clean which might prove troublesome for Zverev who tends to be passive at times. The German advanced to this stage of the event without playing his best so it remains to be seen whether that will be enough.

The night session will feature two WTA matches and winners from those matches will clash in the BNP Paribas Open final. In the first one, at 03:00 CET, Azarenka will take on Ostapenko. Azarenka, a two-time winner of the event enjoys playing in Indian Wells but she will face a very tricky prospect in Ostapenko. The Latvian is a superb hitter when consistent and the slow conditions here suit her game rather well. A very close to call but it should be good.

In the 2nd one, we will get two of the more consistent players on tour this year in Jabeur and Badosa. Both thrived in the conditions at Indian Wells and both are playing high-level tennis. Jabeur possesses a bit more variety in her game than Badosa and she will need it if she hopes to win. Badosa, a stellar defender should be able to handle Jabeur from the baseline but she will need to be ready for those drop shots. Another close one, but another spectacular one as well.
