The 2021
Moselle Open returns to the calendar a one year break due to the pandemic and it will feature a solid field with €419,470 to be won as
prize money.
The ATP 250 event in Metz was last held in 2019 when
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga won the title but he won't be defending his title this year as Tsonga hasn't been playing high-level tennis for quite some time now. Even so, the field of play will feature several notable players including top seed
Pablo Carreno Busta and
Hubert Hurkacz.
Other notable players include De Minaur, Monfils, Humbert, Sonego, Khachanov and Andy Murray who took a wild card to enter the event. The players will be fighting for 250 ATP points as well as a solid prize pool of €419,470 dollars. The winner will bag €41,145 along with 250 points. The losing player in the final will get €29,500 and 150 points.
Players who lose in the semi-final will get 90 points and €21,000 with the lower rounds yielding less money and fewer points. The event will run from September 20th till September 26th. Check out the full breakdown below.
