The tennis event in Bastad, Sweden is returning to the 2021 calendar after a one-year absence and the Nordea Open will be headlined by Shapovalov, Ruud, Garin.
The 2021 Nordea Open in Bastad will run July 12th till July 18th and it will feature a strong field of play mostly consisting of clay-court specialists. The clay event is a longstanding event and the 2021 edition will be the 74th edition of the event. The event is returning to the calendar after a one-year absence due to the pandemic.
The de factor defending champion is Nicolas Jarry who won the event in 2019 but he won't defend the title in 2021 after dropping in the rankings over the pandemic. The 2021 event will feature a strong field of play headlined by Denis Shapovalov who will be the number one seed.
Besides him, we will see Casper Ruud, Christian Garin, Fabio Fognini, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and many other clay specialists compete for the ATP 250 title. Check out the full Entry List below:
