2021 Serbia Open Friday's Schedule of Play with Djokovic, Berrettini

The 2021 Serbia Open features Novak Djokovic, Matteo Berrettini and Aslan Karatsev as the best three players at the event that is played in Belgrade.

In the semifinals of the 2021 Serbia Open in Belgrade, we'll see the best three players that enter the tournament and a lucky loser, Taro Daniel. A very interesting semifinal line-up should provide two very good semifinal matches from Belgrade.

First, Novak Djokovic will play against Aslan Karatsev. The experienced Russian who broke through at this year's Australian Open and later triumphed in Dubai is yet to prove his qualities on clay, but he already showed a few decent performances. On the other hand, Djokovic is playing at home and he will try to add a second victory against Karatsev as he was the man who stopped him also in Australia.

In the second semifinal match, Taro Daniel will try to extend his dream week by adding a second victory over Matteo Berrettini. The two met 3 years ago in Istanbul on clay and the Japanese player triumphed in 2 sets. However, the Italian is yet to lose a set in Serbia and it will be a much more difficult task for Daniel.

On Friday, all three of the main stars in Belgrade will play their quarterfinal matches. Although the day will begin with a Serbian player, the fans will be waiting for world number 1, Novak Djokovic who will play in the second match.

In the first match of the day, Matteo Berrettini will take on Filip Krajinovic who will try to make the home fans happy. Then, we'll witness an all-Serbian clash between Novak Djokovic and Miomir Kecmanovic who good results since he's being coached by David Nalbandian.

In the evening part of the day, Taro Daniel will play against Federico Delbonis in the only match of two unseeded players. In the last match of the day, Gianluca Mager will play against Aslan Karatsev who is the third-seeded in Belgrade.
