ATP tennis returns to Serbian for the 2021 Serbian Open which will run from April 19th till April 25th featuring Novak Djokovic and a prize pool of €711,800.
It will be the 5th ATP edition of the event after running from 2009. till 2012. The event is returning after a 9-year hiatus with a sizeable prize pool and a strong field of play headlined by Novak Djokovic alongside Dominic Thiem, Matteo Berrettini, Gael Monfils and many others.
The event is an ATP 250 event and will be played on clay. The last time it was played, in 2012, Andreas Seppi won the title but there is no defending champion due to the lengthy hiatus. Djokovic won this event twice in 2009 and 2011 and he will certainly look to do it again.
The winner will bag 250 ATP points as well as €100,225. The consolation prize for the 2nd finalists will be 150 ATP points as well as €58,885. The semifinalists will get 90 ATP points and €34,710.
