2022 Miami Open ATP Semifinals day with Ruud - Cerundolo and Hurkacz - Alcaraz

The semifinals day at the Miami Open is upon us with two very interesting matches that will determine which players will face off in the final.

It will be a great day of tennis with four of the best remaining players in the draw. The first match will feature a pairing nobody expected but both played really well to get there. It will be Casper Ruud against Francisco Cerundolo with the Norwegian being the heavy favourite. He battled past Zverev in stellar fashion and many expect him to continue that here and advance to the final.

If he does, he will either face the defending champion Hubert Hurkacz or superman Carlos Alcaraz who is enjoying a superb season so far. Alcaraz cited getting into the top 15 as a goal for 2022 and he might just do it after this week, so dramatic has been the rise of the Spaniard. He will probably be the favourite in the match but Hurkacz has won this event and this year's run is proving that was not by chance.
