The
Miami Open is next on the schedule in terms of ATP and WTA 1000 tournaments between March 22 - April 3, 2022 as part of the Sunshine Double.
Played the week after the conclusion of Indian Wells, it sees focus shift from California to Florida with another hard court bonanza.
In terms of ATP, Daniil Medvedev, Alexander Zverev and Stefanos Tsitsipas will lead a field which has seen withdrawals from the likes of Rafael Nadal and also Novak Djokovic in recent weeks.
The WTA field is only missing Ashleigh Barty in terms of the top names with Barbora Krejcikova top seed as World Number Two. Aryna Sabalenka, Iga Swiatek, Maria Sakkari, Paula Badosa and Emma Raducanu are among those entered.
With Swiatek, Sakkari and Badosa still in the running in Indian Wells for the title so it is likely one of the three will come in with one under their belt.
Prize money is below with this remaining the same from Indian Wells as is the case for all ATP and WTA 1000 tournaments.
