While many begin the European Clay Court season, it is the final knockings of the grass court season over in the USA which will also begin the next stage of the tennis season as the Hall of Fame Open in Newport takes place.
Action heads to Rhode Island with the draw now being confirmed for the tournament which takes place between 17-23 July.
Storyline wise, it sees many of the top Americans outside of Frances Tiafoe and Taylor Fritz in action.
Those being Tommy Paul and Mackenzie McDonald for instance, as well as Adrian Mannarino, a grass court specialist in many ways.
While there is also the return of Kevin Anderson after only 14 months off court. The 37-year-old South African said initially that he didn't want a grand retirement and a farewell Grand Slam.
But it seems either he will play on tour again or attempt to get that farewell Grand Slam.
It is a tournament that holds a lot of good memories for him winning it only two years ago and albeit he didn't play Wimbledon, he begins his comeback at a lower level.
