The 2023
Lyon Open is one of five ATP events held in France, and it will be held before the week of Roland Garros, from May 21-27, 2023.
An ATP 250 event, the Lyon Open was originally an indoor hardcourt event, before transitioning to clay in 2017. Great Britain's
Cameron Norrie lifted the title last year, and the World No.13 is likely to return in an attempt to defend his crown.
Joining Norrie will be Frenchman
Gael Monfils, as the local favorite attempts to rediscover his form after a lengthy absence due to injury. Compatriot
Richard Gasquet is also scheduled to compete at the event, along with American
Tommy Paul.
The tournament has a €562,815
prize money pool, along with 250 ATP ranking points to the winner. Below is the breakdown.
