2023 Wimbledon Men's Draw Projected Quarter-Finals including Alcaraz-Rune and Djokovic-Rublev

The 2023 Wimbledon draw revealed potential quarterfinal matchups, including Carlos Alcaraz against Holger Rune and Novak Djokovic against Andrey Rublev.

With the completion of the Wimbledon qualifiers, the men's and women's draws were sorted, defining the path for the top eight seeds, who could potentially set up electrifying matchups in the quarterfinals.

Carlos Alcaraz entered the third Grand Slam of the year as the top seed after winning the Queen's Club Championship, displacing Djokovic to the second seed position. The third and fourth seeds were Daniil Medvedev and Casper Ruud, each of them could be drawn in their respective half of the draw alongside another player from the fifth to eighth seed.

In a potential quarterfinal clash, Alcaraz and Holger Rune could face each other, with Rune leading the head-to-head 1-0 when they played at the 2022 Paris Masters (6-3, 6-6, and retirement of the Spanish player). World No. 2 Djokovic could potentially meet Russian player Andrey Rublev, with Djokovic leading the head-to-head 3-1. Their last encounter was in the quarterfinals of the 2023 Australian Open, with a commanding victory for 'Nole' (6-1, 6-2, 6-4). They have never faced each other on grass.

Daniil Medvedev could cross paths with one of his biggest rivals in recent years, as he could potentially face Stefanos Tsitsipas. Medvedev currently holds an 8-4 record against Tsitsipas, and their last meeting was in the semifinals of the 2023 Rome Open, with a victory for the former world No. 1.

In the final quarter of the draw, the semifinals could feature Casper Ruud against Jannik Sinner. They have met twice before at the Vienna Open (2020 and 2021), with Sinner winning both encounters without dropping a set against the Norwegian.

Wimbledon kicks off on Monday, with Djokovic, Ruud, Rublev, and Sinner all making their respective debuts on the first day of the tournament.
