The
draw has been released for the 2024 BMW Open Munich which is a leading stop en route to Roland Garros and the usual trip to Germany during the European Clay Court season. It will take place between 15-21 April and sees
Alexander Zverev as top seed.
Zverev will face either Jurij Rodionov or Aleksandar Vukic in the second round and sits in the same section as his compatriot Dominik Koepfer who is seventh seed. He opens up against Cristian Garin.
Taylor Fritz is third seed and will face Dominic Thiem or a qualifier in the second round.
Defending champion is
Holger Rune who faces Daniel Elahi Galan or Camilo Ugo Carabelli ad could be on course to face Zverev in the final. Alexander Shevchenko is the seed that lurks in his section and opens up against Yannick Hanfmann. Fourth seed is home hope
Jan-Lennard Struff who faces Botic van de Zandschulp or a qualifier. Fifth and sixth seed are Felix Auger-Aliassime and Jack Draper respectively.
