The schedule has been confirmed ahead of Tuesday at the 2024
Monte-Carlo Masters with
Novak Djokovic already set to begin his campaign in Monaco. Our
preview looks ahead to the third day at the Monte-Carlo Masters as the latest ATP 1000 continues with
Alexander Zverev also involved.
Djokovic aims for first Monte-Carlo title since 2015
For World No.1, Novak Djokovic, it is a different complexion than previously with the 24-time Grand Slam champion having indifferent form to start the year. His coaching team also has altered with Goran Ivanisevic leaving after six years.
As a result he made the confession earlier this week that his expectations 'are not very high' for this tournament. One that he has also been barren in for a long time. He has failed to win the Monte-Carlo Masters since 2015. He has also not gone past the Quarter-Finals in seven appearances since 2015. The 36-year-old if he wins it one more time will tick off winning everything thrice so it would be a landmark title. He faces Roman Safiullin in the opening round.

Zverev, Berrettini and De Minaur-Wawrinka also headline Tuesday
Also among the leading lights on Tuesday include Alexander Zverev who ends proceedings against Sebastian Ofner in the second round. There is also two matches to kick off the day worth watching.
Alex de Minaur will face
Stan Wawrinka, while Miomir Kecmanovic who fell this past week down the rankings will face a riser in
Matteo Berrettini who won Marrakech superbly and will aim to continue his run hopefully injury free. After a torrid time of it, he is finally back to some semblance of his best.
Elsewhere, Hubert Hurkacz faces Jack Draper while young gun Arthur Fils takes on Lorenzo Musetti. The winner could face Novak Djokovic. Nicolas Jarry v Tomas Martin Etcheverry and Borna Coric v Jan-Lennard Struff are also part of a solid day of action.
