2025 ATP Prize Money Leaders Update: Jannik Sinner at the helm but Alexander Zverev leads surprising chasing pack

Jannik Sinner is currently top when it comes to ATP Prize Money Leaders thus far in 2025 but with his ban predicament, it is likely that he will be overtaken as a chasing pack of surprising names also circle in the latest update to start the new week.

Sinner sits on $2.15m ahead of Alexander Zverev who added 54,000 to his total over the last week. He is currently playing in Acapulco too so he is bound to increase his standing in the coming weeks. With Indian Wells and Miami also to come, it is likely that although Sinner won't lose his actual World No.1 spot he will lose this.

After the leading duo is perhaps a surprise name and perhaps not in Taylor Fritz alongside Alex de Minaur. Both continue to have career best runs and with De Minaur adding 38,000 from his Dubai loss, he sits on $1.1m alongside Fritz.

He cracked the top 10 for the first time this season and continues to excel despite his loss to Marin Cilic. Carlos Alcaraz then follows slightly behind on $949,000. Ben Shelton and Casper Ruud sit together having both added $54,200 alone this year.

Andrey Rublev also rises having won Doha. He sits on $748,000 having risen one spot with $38,800 to his name. The surprises behind Novak Djokovic perhaps are the Canadian duo in particular Felix Auger-Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov with the former rising two spots.

He sits on $714,000 compared to $712,000 for Shapovalov who won the Dallas Open earlier in the season in a bit of a renaissance. This also sent Hubert Hurkacz tumbling down to 12th. While Tommy Paul, Ugo Humbert and Jiri Lehecka complete the top 15.

Movers and shakers this week include Stefanos Tsitsipas going up two to 23rd, Holger Rune, Nuno Borges, Learner Tien and Daniil Medvedev sitting between 26th to 29th go up a myriad of places from three to seven.

Zizou Bergs surged 10 after losing in the Last 16 in Dubai and sits in 35th. Karen Khachanov and Matteo Berrettini also move up 10 each, Tallon Griekspoor is up 18 while Luca Nardi is up 27 after reaching the Dubai Quarter-Finals.

Despite good starts to the year, Joao Fonseca and Reilly Opelka both plummeted 12 spots this week going down to 49th and 50th. Whilst these rankings don't count for anything major, it is a good gauge of form and also for the ATP Race which takes into account points from this season and those winning more than most are more likely to make it to Turin.
