Carlos Alcaraz,
Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe will be among those taking part in Queen's Club this year alongside defending champion
Matteo Berrettini.
Berrettini dominated at Queen's in the past two years winning the trophy both times. The Italian is one of the finest grass players and it's mainly due to his serve being a major weapon for giving him plenty of free points. He'll have some good competition this year with players like Alcaraz, Fritz and Tiafoe all set to compete at the event.
Tiafoe was there last year while Alcaraz never played before. The confirmation came with some kind words from Alcaraz:
“It’s an honour to come to the LTA’s cinch Championships this year,
to a venue with so much history, great champions and everyone knows the
quality of the grass courts is among the best in the world."
Fritz said:
“Really looking forward to returning to Queen’s Club for the LTA’s
cinch Championships, there’s a great vibe around the event, it’s one of
the players’ favourites on the Tour and my game translates well onto
grass. Excited to see what this year has in store."
