As expected, Rafael Nadal will not play at the BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells this year due to injury with the Spaniard showing tell tale signs due to withdrawing from a pre-tournament exhibition with Carlos Alcaraz but now it has been confirmed.
Nadal as a result is unlikely to play until the clay court season again and is back training but not fully recovered with this seemingly coming just short in his recovery.
