Alcaraz puts himself as favourite for Roland Garros: "If Rafa goes, I put myself top of the list"

Carlos Alcaraz doesn't lack any confidence on a tennis court and he doesn't lack any confidence off a tennis court as he proclaimed himself the favourite for Roland Garros.

It's not hard to understand why Alcaraz might think that because nobody is really playing better tennis than he is right now. There are players that can challenge him such as Djokovic and Nadal but he feels that he can take both of them on clay. After his win over Borna Coric at the Madrid Open, Alcaraz said:

"There are Tsitsipas, Djokovic...If Rafa goes, it will always be his tournament. And I put myself at the top of the list."

Alcaraz is clearly alluding that he's at the top of the list when it comes to players being able to win Roland Garros and nobody should doubt him. He's proven he can do it and clay is a good surface for him.
