Norwegian Casper Ruud is seeded third at the event, and could battle Russian
Andrey Rublev should both men make it to the quarterfinals.
The final quarterfinal matchup could feature fourth seed
Daniil Medvedev take on big-hitting Pole Hubert Hurkacz. Despite finishing runner-up at Indian Wells, Medvedev is still the man to beat this season, having won 19 consecutive matches prior to his defeat to Alcaraz in Indian Wells last week.
