All England Lawn Tennis Club on Coronavirus outbreak affecting Wimbledon: "We will act responsibility, in the best interests of wider society"

The All England Lawn Tennis Club who look after Wimbledon have responded in the wake of the Coronavirus threat which has made it's way to tennis.

With Indian Wells, Miami Open and all events being cancelled for the next six weeks; despite it being fairly far away fans who are set to attend Wimbledon will be worried.
Eloise Tyson, Head of Communications for the AELTC like many came out and said that they will monitor the situation; as well as continuing to implement precautionary measures; in order to stop the spread as much as possible despite them not yet releasing a public statement on proceedings.
“The AELTC is continuing to monitor the coronavirus situation, working closely with the government and the relevant health authorities, and we are following their advice regarding promoting good hygiene practices across our Estate.” Tyson said to Ubitennis.
“While we continue to plan for The Championships at this time; we will act responsibly; in the best interests of wider society."
“In the event that the government required us to cancel; our insurance policies would enable us to offer refunds to ticket holders and debenture holders.”
