Ben Shelton got into the last eight of the
Australian Open after defeating
J.J. Wolf in the American duel.

their service games, Wolf took the lead in the tie-break after his opponent's
error on a climb to the net and took the set 7-6.
The match changed within the second set, Shelton
led 3-2 when he got the first break of the match, which he managed to finish at
6-3 to level the duel. The next set also saw both players play excellent
service games, and they reached a tiebreaker that again went to Wolf.
In the fourth set the balance was maintained on serve,
but this time the 20-year-old was better on the deciding points, taking the
tie-break and forcing victory in a set. The last set ended the physical
superiority of Ben Shelton, who was intact while Wolf gradually fell and moved
less.
