Andrey Rublev did not have a very good week in Moscow yet the Russian became the 5th player to officially qualify for the
ATP Finals in Turin.
The 2021 season has been a very good one for Andrey Rublev as the Russian captured several titles over the course of the year. He also reached several notable finals as well such as two Masters 1000 Finals but he failed to win either one. He consolidated himself firmly in the top 10 and that allowed him to become the 5th player to officially qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin.
It basically means that Rublev was the 5th best player in 2021 and that is certainly the case. Had he been a bit luckier he could have been even better for Rublev the main thing will be bettering his ATP Finals result from last year. The city and venue will be different but Rublev does not lack motivation. Upon officially qualifying Rublev released a statement saying:
"I am so happy to be back competing with the best eight players in the world. It is such a unique and prestigious tournament and I can’t wait to play in Turin."
