The Antwerp European Open ends today with the final between Ugo Humbert and Alex De Minaur on the schedule.
Alex de Minaur and Ugo Humbert are the last two players standing at the Antwerp European Open and will be contending for the title. The match will start at 17:30 and it will feature two players who are eager to win a title. Humbert has finally returned to winning ways after a long run of bad results. De Minaur had a bumpy ride towards the final where he had to play several matches in three sets. His match against Gasquet at the start of the event was very shaky and he almost went out. His performance against Dimitrov was a good one and if he performers that way today he can win the match. Humbert played very good tennis all week long. He hadn't had any issues until he met Dan Evans who almost beat him.
That match was a gruesome won as he spent over three hours on the court. Matches like that always leave traces especially after less than 24 hours of rest but Humbert will give his best in order to win the trophy. The setting and court are favourable for him as he demonstrated with his good performances this week. Nonetheless, the odds favour De Minaur who is at the moment probably the better player. The form is debatable and tiredness may play a factor as well. This will be their first time playing against each other so there will be room for surprises in tactics.
