Venus Williams spoke about her dream doubles partner ins a recent interview and the names she picked might surprise you.
Venus Williams is still in tennis although many are expecting her to retire sooner rather than later. The veteran saw her sister hang up the racquet and many think that Venus will follow her. According to Williams herself, that's not going to happen as she enjoys playing the game and plans to keep going.
In a recent talk, she spoke about her dream doubles partners and one of them is the first black woman to ever win the Wimbledon trophy. It's Althea Gibson of course with her second dream partner being
Ashleigh Barty:
"But once you've played with Serena...it's hard to get a better partner! Ashley (Ashleigh) Barty would be great! But it would have been amazing to play with Althea."
Venus won multiple grand slam trophies partnering her sister Serena and as she explained it's tough to beat that.
