The ATP tour will make it's only stop in Africa for the Grand Prix Hassan II Open, which runs from April 1-7, 2024 from the beautiful clay-courts of Marrakesh, Morocco.
An ATP 250 event, the Grand Prix Hassan II tournament offers clay-court specialists a chance at claiming a title on their preferred surface. Three-time Grand Slam champion Stan Wawrinka is confirmed for the event, as the Swiss superstar lifted the title at the 2010 edition.
Former World No.6 Matteo Berrettini will be competing at the event using a protected ranking. The Italian has struggled with injury over the past year and is hoping to regain the confidence that saw him finish runner-up at the 2021 Wimbledon Championships. Joining Berrettini are several clay-court specialists, including defending champion Roberto Carballes Baena, Thiago Seyboth Wild and top seed Laslo Djere. The event will offer a prize money pool worth €579,320, with the winner claiming €88,125 and 250 ranking points. Below is the full breakdown.
