With the Mexican Open Acapulco set to take place on the ATP side between February 26 and March 2, 2024, the prize money and points breakdown has been confirmed, with $2,206,080 on offer.
The tournament will feature a main draw led by Alexander Zverev (No. 6) and Holger Rune (No. 7). Also joining are Alex De Minaur (No. 9), Stefanos Tsitsipas (No. 12), and a legion of local players, including Taylor Fritz (No. 10), Tommy Paul (No. 14), Frances Tiafoe (No. 16), and Ben Shelton (No. 17).
The main absence will be Grigor Dimitrov, who was registered but decided to withdraw from the tournament, without disclosing the reason. They will be competing for $412,555 in prize money for the winner and 500 points, with $221,975 for the losing finalist and 300 points.
Semi-finalists will claim $118,300 and 180 points, while quarter-finalists will gain $60,440 and 90 points. Those who win a single match will earn 45 points and a total of $32,265, almost double the amount for those who exit in the first round, receiving $17,210 and leaving without points.
