ATP Race to Milan (Next-gen): American trio of Korda, Brooksby and Nakashima inch closer to qualification

The ATP Race to Milan is something tennis fans should pay close attention to as it's heating up with the American trio of Korda, Brooksby and Nakashima on the verge of qualification.

The ATP Next-gen Finals in Milan is a very fun event played in a specific format where the brightest young talents (below the age of 21) compete for the title of the next-gen superstar. The event will be held in Milan which is fairly close to Turin so this year we will have the old guard and the young guns playing the Finals an hour's drive apart.

That will be extremely good for native Italian fans who are hoping to see as many Italians as possible. The number one in this Race is Jannik Sinner and the Italian might elect to play his event especially if he misses out on the ATP Finals where he is so far out of a qualification spot. Along with Sinner, Felix Auger-Aliassime and Carlos Alcaraz have also secured a spot in Milan.

After them, we have a couple of very interesting players that have not officially qualified yet but it's widely expected that all of them make the cut. Sebastian Korda is currently 4th in the race, Jenson Brooksby is 5th with Lorenzo Musetti 6th. Another American in Nakashima is 7th with Juan Manuel Cerundolo 8th at the moment. Holger Rune is not far behind at number 9 so it's going to be a good battle till the end.
