The ATP Race to Turin is heating up with several players fighting for essentially two remaining spots at the ATP Finals later this year.
The ATP Finals in Turin is the final premier event of the year and many tennis players have already secured a spot at the event. World number one Novak Djokovic is qualified, as is world number two Daniil Medvedev and world number 3 Stefanos Tsitsipas. Zverev at 4 is also safe as is Rublev at 5 and probably Berrettini at 6. That leaves 2 spots up for grabs and the race has never been closer.
The 7th spot is currently occupied by Casper Ruud who leads Hurkacz who is 8th by about 30 points. Cameron Norrie had an amazing 10 days in the desert of Indian Wells winning the BNP Paribas Open and that allowed him to surge all the way up to 10 trailing Hurkacz by about 150 points. Jannik Sinner and Felix Auger-Aliassime are also in the mix but they are a bit farther away.
Sinner is trailing Hurkacz about 400 points with Auger-Aliassime about 600 points. The majority of points remaining to be won on the ATP tour is in Paris for the Paris Masters and many players will be eyeing that event for collecting points. We will have weekly ATP 250 events as well with a couple of ATP 500's in there as well. There are points to be won and the race has never been closer. Check out the standings below.
