The ATP Race has been updated for this week, with
Jannik Sinner still leading the way and Rio Open winner
Sebastian Baez breaking into the top 10.
Sinner has not lost a match so far in 2024, winning the Australian Open before picking up the Rotterdam Open earlier this month. The Italian is likely to be in top spot for some time, with a healthy 1,200 point gap over second place Daniil Medvedev.
Medvedev is on 1,300 points, less than a hundred in front of German Alexander Zverev. Both players are in action this week in Dubai and Mexico respectfully.
Novak Djokovic has had a quiet year so far, only playing the Australian Open, where the Serb reached the semi final which is enough to see him fourth place in the standings.
The man on the wrong side of Sinner's victory in the Netherlands, Alex de Minaur, is included in the top 10. De Minaur is looking to qualify for the
ATP Finals for the first time in his career.
The biggest shock in the top 10 so far is that of Baez, who won the Rio Open last week - the Argentine's first ATP 500 level event win.
