ATP Ranking Update as Jannik Sinner and Casper Ruud close in on ranking rises heading into French Open

Novak Djokovic remains World No.1. But on the live ATP ranking, he is currently set to lose top spot in likely his final weeks as the top player. But with last week's action in Geneva and Lyon, it is time for ATP Ranking Update.

If Djokovic doesn't reach the semi-finals in Paris, he will lose top spot regardless of how the Italian plays in the capital. The Italian will start his campaign early on Monday morning.

Changes have been few and far between and has been more about players starting to make hay when it comes to usurping others. Casper Ruud for instance in winning Geneva remains as World No.7. But he has closed in on sixth ranked Andrey Rublev. Ugo Humbert will climb into the top 16 and Alexander Bublik moves up to 17th. Both benefit from Nicolas Jarry not defending Geneva as he slides down to 19th.

Tomas Machac who beat Djokovic in Geneva and lost in the final is up to a new career high of World No.34. Luciano Darderi is up to a career high of World No.40. Whilst Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in winning the Lyon title is up to World No.66. He has gone up a remarkable 51 spots in claiming the title. Breaking the top 100 in style.
