ATP Rankings Update: Djokovic at No. 1 as Federer continues slide, drops to 8th

Novak Djokovic won another Wimbledon which allows him to sit comfortably at No. 1 as Roger Federer is slowly moving outside of the top 10.

A great fortnight of tennis happened in London and it was Novak Djokovic triumph once more on the grass of SW19. The Serbian won his 6th Wimbledon which allowed him to keep his deserved number one on the rankings. Further down the line, some changes happened as Zverev jumped over Theim for 5.

Roger Federer continued to slide as the Swiss ace is now ranked at number 9 with Berrettini and Rublev moving ahead. Federer has not ranked outside of the top 10 since October 2002. Several other notable players jumped up such as Hurkacz who is now ranked 11th and very close to making his top 10 debut.

Kei Nishikori is another playing who is in freefall on the rankings with the Japanese player now outside of the top 50. Nine players in total achieved new career-high rankings and they are as follows: Hurkacz at 11, Auger-Aliassime at 15, Norrie at 32, Korda at 46, Ivashka at 63, Giron at 64, Alcaraz at 72, Mager at 73 and Coria at 77.
