ATP Rankings Update: Novak Djokovic retains No. 1 after US Open loss

Novak Djokovic lost in the US Open final but retained his number one rankings as a lot of changes happened in the rankings post the US Open.

It's the day after the US Open final and as every Monday it brings us a new rankings update. Novak Djokovic is still on top but the difference between him and Medvedev is now at 1500 points. Andrey Rublev moved up to number 5 as did Matteo Berrettini who is now 7th. Casper Ruud is 10th, Auger-Aliassime is 11th. A lot of changes happened in the top 100 as well with many players moving up after strong showings in New York.

Lloyd Harris reached the quarterfinal and he jumped 15 spots to number 31. Botic Van de Zandschulp also played in the quarterfinal and jumped up 54 spots to number 63. Carlos Alcaraz is another big mover with a 17 spot jump to number 38. In total 20 players reached a new career-high on this day and they will be listed in the next paragraph.
