Australian Open Day 8 ATP & WTA Schedule of Play with Halep, Medvedev, Tsitsipas and Swiatek

The first batch of Australian Open quarterfinals will happen on day 8 of the event and it will feature some of the best in Halep, Medvedev, Tsitsipas and Swiatek.

As usual, play will commence at 11:00 local Melbourne time which is 01:00 Centra European Time. It will start with the WTA once more as Elise Mertens takes on Danielle Collins in the first match. After that match, we will see Simona Halep take on veteran Alize Cornet. The WTA programme continues with Iga Swiatek taking on Sorana Cirstea with the final match scheduled for 11:00 CET.

It will be Kaia Kanepi against Aryna Sabalenka in a matchup of two heavy hitters where we will see tons of winners and also mistakes. In terms of the ATP side of the event, we will start at 04:00 CET with the first match that will feature Marin Cilic and Felix Auger-Aliassime. In the 2nd match, Maxime Cressy will take on Daniil Medvedev.

Alex De Minaur will face off against Jannik SInner in the 3rd ATP match of the day before the programme gets close by a proper banger. Stefanos Tsitsipas will take on Taylor Fritz at 09:00 CET. Check out the full schedule breakdown below.
