Badosa looks back emotionally on Indian Wells title win as Sunshine Double set to begin

The biggest trophy of Paula Badosa's career was the Indian Wells Masters won in 2021 when she defeated Victoria Azarenka in a thrilling final.

The Spaniard hasn't been able to hit quite that peak since then dealing with a lot of injuries as well as poor play in between. It was a huge trophy for Badosa as she was only starting her rise back then being the 21st seed at the event. She played an amazing event and it was quite an emotional ride.

A fansite posted a montage of that event on social media and Badosa noticed and shared it. She posted some emotions along with it indicating that she got quite emotional looking back at the montage. Badosa hasn't played that much but she'll be back at Indian Wells in a few days. Perhaps she has another dream run there this year.
