Berrettini blow as injury ravaged Italian withdraws from French Open at Roland Garros

Matteo Berrettini has struggled with injury issues most of this year and will not play at Roland Garros withdrawing from the 2023 French Open.

Berrettini withdrew from the latter end of the Monte-Carlo Masters and has since not played any clay warmups.

This has included his home tournament of the Rome Open this past week and will now not play any clay at all this season.

All eyes will turn to the former Wimbledon finalist and the grass court season with the Italian being formidable on the surface.
