The bett1HULKS Championship in Cologne is at its end with Alexander Zverev taking on Diego Schwartzman for the title.
The final match of the bett1HULKS Championship in Cologne will take place on Sunday starting at 19.30 CET. It will be Alexander Zverev against Diego Schwartzman in a match that has all the necessary ingredients of being a great match. Zverev has been on a tear in Cologne in the past fortnight winning all of his matches. While there have been occasional struggles he always found a way to win and today he will need to do the same. Diego Schwartzman had a bumpy ride to the final as well especially in the match against Davidovich Fokina which he should have lost. Since then he has looked very good and he enters this match believing he can win it.
This will be their 3rd official match with Schwartzman having the upper hand winning two of those three matches. One of them was played back in 2014 and if we discredit it then it's 1-1. The most recent one played at the US Open in 2019 was won by Schwartzman as well. The odds heavily favour the German which is expected as he has shown pure class in Cologne. Playing on home soil and in front of his fans and family helps as well. Despite the overwhelming odds in his Zverev's this will be a close match that could easily go in three sets.
