The programme will start at 13:00 CET with a very interesting match between Mannarino and Kecmanovic. Both of those players haven't had too much success last week but they are eager to prove the doubters wrong. After them, we will see Davidovich Fokina and Steve Johnson. The American scored a strong upset win over Marin Cilic in the previous round which will raise the Spaniard's awareness before the match. He himself is in good form so he will believe himself good enough to win.

The German crowd will enjoy the next match as well as they will have a native player to root for. Struff will take on Cecchinato and he will fancy his chances against him as Cecchinato hasn't played any hard courts matches in a while. Having the German crowd behind his back will also surely boost his confidence. The evening part of the schedule will kick off at 18:00 with Alexander Zverev taking on John Millman. Zverev has been excellent last week when he lifted the Cologne title and he will look to repeat that result this week.

The first obstacle is Millman who is a capable player yet his chances are rather slim. The final match of the day will be played between last week's finalist Felix Auger-Aliassime and Egor Gerasimov. Auger-Aliassime fought valiantly last week but he was simply overmatched in the final but his good form makes him the favourite in this one.
