The 2nd part of the Cologne tennis event starts on Monday with some interesting matches as the schedule of play indicates.

The bett1HULKS Championships in Cologne is the 2nd part of the tennis event in Germany and Monday will be the first day with a strong schedule of play. Play is set to start at 14:00 CET and it will feature 6 interesting matches out of which the first is between Thompson and Simon. Both of them played indoor hard courts matches already without any success. They will be followed by Nishioka and Edmund, two players that love playing on hard courts. Neither played last week so this will be their first taste of indoor tennis.

The next two matches will feature interesting matches between Summit Nagal and Miomir Kecmanovic and Mannarino and Popyrin. Nagal and Kecmanovic are on the younger side and they are still finding their way in the tennis world. As for Popyrin, he is hoping to put in a few good efforts on a season that didn't live up to his or his fans expectations. The evening schedule will feature two matches between Gerasimov and Altmeier. The German played well recently so he will be favoured in that one. The last match of the day will be between Cilic and Johnson which should give the German crowd a good conclusion to a packed day of tennis.
