Bublik and Harris set to fight for the spot in Chengdu final

Bublik plays great at the tournament in Chengdu. He was able to defeat Taylor Fritz first, later he outplayed Jordan Thompson and he wasn't stopped even by Grigor Dimitrov in the quarterfinals. Bublik spent almost 5 and half hours on courts in China during the 8 sets he played.

His opponent had easier opponents in the main part of the draw, but he played in the tournament up to 4 days earlier than his semi-final opponent when he fought already in the qualifying. However, he failed to succeed in qualies, but he got into the main part as a lucky loser. He defeated Fucsovics, Lajovic and Sousa on his way among the last 4. He also played 8 sets, but he spent about half an hour less on the courts than his opponent.

The two players have met at the ATP circuit once already. It was 2 years ago at qualifying in Moscow. There Bublik managed to win comfortably 6-3 and 6-4. Maybe that's why he's a minor favorite of this match.
