They often say now that tennis stars don't technically have an off-season with exhibitions during December and in the case of Carlos Alcaraz, he was using his tennis fame to give private lessons in Los Cabos over this past month.
Alcaraz hosted group clinics and private lessons at hotels at the One&Only Palmilla earlier this month. Doing so through his management company, LUX Tennis, guests pay up to £1,000 a night but it was four times that to get a 30-minute session with the rising Spaniard.
Albeit for those wanting a group session, it was a more reasonable £450 per guest. Alcaraz posted photos of his sessions on his Instagram with plenty of younger fans enjoying their time with the Wimbledon champion.
As well as giving out tennis clinics, he also found time to unwind with a game of volleyball and watching the sunrise on a beach by his hotel. "Thank you @oneandonlypalmilla and @luxtennis for this memorable stay in Los Cabos!" wrote Alcaraz in the caption of his post. "I'm coming back home with the energy charges at 100% and ready for the preseason!"
It will be a busy month for Alcaraz who will spend Christmas in Riyadh playing an exhibition against Novak Djokovic over the festive period before then heading to start his season. Albeit without any confirmed stops yet and previously mooted that he would not play at all before the Australian Open and follow the Novak Djokovic route.
