Casper Ruud starts off-season on a high, gets engaged to girlfriend Maria Galligani

Casper Ruud has only been off the court just over a week but there is more than just a few weeks away from the sport to celebrate as he has got engaged to his girlfriend Maria Galligani.

"Can’t wait to marry you💍🤍," Ruud wrote in a post that featured three photos of the couple. The happy couple first got together before Ruud's emergence as one of the top players on the ATP Tour.

They went public back in 2018 with Galligani being a leading presence in the camp of the the leading light. She has watched her now fiance´r each three Grand Slam finals alongside his father Christian Ruud who is also his coach and mother Lele.

But they also share dog Don Bajas, their Maltese-Shih Tzu mix puppy with the duo taking to Instagram to document its adventures. Ruud has ended the season winning more than 50 matches, winning his biggest title to date in Barcelona and reaching the semi-finals of the ATP Finals in Turin for the third time in four years.

Can this news be the catalyst for even more success in 2025? Time will tell.
