Cordoba Open Quarter-Final Preview - Schwartzman vs Ramos-Vinolas among ties

Andrej Martin will take on Corentin Moutet in the first Quarter-Final. The former has eased past Federico Coria and Carlos Taberner to reach this point; coming off the back to a run to the semi-finals of a Challenger Tour event in Punta Del Este.

Moutet reached the final of the Qatar Open defeating a lot of big names along the way; but failed to follow that up in Melbourne. He is back on form though defeating Thiago Monteiro and Guido Pella coming from a set down in the latter.

Then it is the form of Pablo Cuevas against Christian Garin in the second Quarter-Final. Cuevas as sixth seed eased past Federico Delbonis; then came from a set down to dispel Gianluca Mager and now takes on the third seed.

Garin has only played one round before this cruising into this round; with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Attila Balazs and so it'll be an interesting match up.

As will Diego Schwartzman against Albert Ramos-Vinolas. The former eased past Jaume Munar and again has only played one round. This may work in his favour; but against the fifth seed who has had two matches prior, it could prove to be pivotal for the latter.

Ramos-Vinolas has come through two tough ties against Facundo Bagnis and Pablo Andujar and after losing a thriller in Melbourne to Alex Bolt, he will aim to use this week to build form but it could be Schwartzman who moves on in front of his home crowd.

Then finally it's Laslo Djere vs Juan Ignacio Londero in a battle of the fourth and eighth seeds. The latter has eased passed Marco Cecchinato and Pedro Cachin and also on home soil he will aim to harness that against Djere.
