Another exciting match at the Battle of the Brits exhibition ended in a 3rd set with
Dan Evans rallying late to beat
Andy Murray 6-4 3-6 10-8.
After stunning Jack Draper yesterday, Murray tried adding another win today against Evans. It didn't go as planned early on as Evans found a way to take apart Murray's game never allowing him to find a very good rhythm. Evans patiently waited for his chance and used it once it came. It was always going to a tricky matchup for Murray as Evans is so good and mixing things up but Murray found success in the second set.
He took an early break and held it for the majority of the set to win it 6-3. The final set was a match tiebreak and it was a rather exciting one. Murray opened better taking a 2-1 lead and then a 4-2 lead but Evans kept himself in the match 5-5. Evans had a 7-6 lead and two serves to extend his lead but lost both serves making it 8-7 to Murray.
Andy had two serves to end it but lost both of it giving Evans the 9-8 lead. Evans used the first match point to win the match.
