We don't see many matches where both players have a winning streak of over 10+ matches but this one fits that profile with Medvedev being the one whose streak continues for now 6-4 6-4.
It was a very good match overall which was expected but it wasn't as good as it could have been. Djokovic didn't really play his best and he seemed rather nervous and annoyed for much of it. Playing Medvedev is rarely fun but the Serbian found ways to beat him as he won a couple of their most recent matches.
This one wasn't the case as Medvedev was able to control it really well leaving Djokovic frustrated. Quite a few times the Serbian lost patience and went for an ill-advised shot that didn't work. Medvedev was actually up two breaks in the first set but won it 6-4 only after Djokovic took one break back.
The second set opened with an early break for the Russian which made the Serbian even more upset. He tried applying pressure but the Russian stayed strong and won it 6-4. Just an overall incredible display from Medvedev who had 8 aces and 27 winners. He only had 7 unforced errors which was 7 less than Djokovic and that was enough.
