On Wednesday, we saw several surprises at the Zhuhai Championships when Pouille first tripped against Kwon Soon and later Seppi surprised Kyrgios.
Qualifier Kwon Soon Woo has already won 8 matches from the last 9 and has also handled the fifth-seeded Lucas Pouille. Kwon Soon won the first set in a tie-break 7-4 and dominated in the second, beating the French 6-2.
Andreas Seppi managed to turn the match with Nick Kyrgios after losing in the first set already 5-2. The Australian even had up to 3 set balls on his serve but failed to convert them and Seppi won the first set in a tie-break 7-5. In the second, like Kwon Soon, Seppi dominated, when he won 6-1.
In the third match, we saw another turn when Kecmanovic was leading 5-3 and had 4 set balls, but like Kyrgios, he couldn't use them and the first set was decided in a tie-break. Ramos won it 7-2 and in the second set he managed to take the opponent's service up to three times and won it 6-3.
Another turn was performed by Gael Monfils, who lost to Norrie 5-7 in the first set. But he won 6-3 in the second and 6-4 in the third.
