The fight between the last 16 at the Western & Southern Open have brought several surprises. This year, Khachanov, De Minaur and Roger Federer will not win title.

The day began with two small surprises when in a very good form playing Nishioka defeated De Minaur. Nishioka was able to beat Nishikori in the previous round and shows his great form in Cincinnati.

Another player who is having a good form in Cincinnati is Richard Gasquet. Everything started with a win in the first round against Murray and so far on the tournament he has not lost a set and will play in the quarterfinals.

Goffin, Medvedev and Bautista handled their matches very quickly when they all won quickly in two sets. World no.1 Novak Djokovic, who remains the last of the big favorites in the tournament, does also continue.

And it was Roger Federer who got Djokovic into this position. Swiss lost with Rublev, who performed almost flawlessly and will deservedly play in the quarterfinals.
