The Washington Open is due to take place between July 27 - August 2, 2026 and it is the 57th edition of the ATP tournament. Alex de Minaur is the defending champion and he plans currently to play.
This is despite the fact that he has only just got married in Tuscany to his wife now in Katie Boulter. Also headlining included Felix Auger-Aliassime, Ben Shelton, Taylor Fritz, Daniil Medvedev and Lorenzo Musetti.
It is a stacked line-up on the ATP side as well as the WTA side and is the true start to the US Open. The tournament will be held at the William H.G. Fitzgerald Tennis Center in Washington DC.
Albeit the men's draw was reduced from 48 players to 32 players this year. Also stylised as the Citi
DC Open and Washington Open, it Is a true hard court staple.
