Delray Beach Open 2020 Day 1 Schedule of Play

The day 1 Schedule of Play at the Delray Beach Open 2020 is headlined by Francis Tiafoe. His opponent will be Emilio Gomez from Ecuador. Gomez is a tricky player who can play well on hard courts. Tiafoe is the favorite simply because he plays great at home.

The program will be opened by yet another American Harisson who will face Damir Dzumhur. Neither one of those players is in particularly good form but it should be a great match. The crowd will see a lot of fight from both players as they're known for it.

The Delray Beach crowd will have a chance to see several more Americans on the court as McDonald is set to face Uchiyama of Japan. That match will be played on the 2nd court and after it concludes we will see another American. Brandon Nakashima is set to play against Vesely who recently won his 1st title in India.

All in all, it should be an interesting day of tennis ahead which will feature 6 singles matches with 12 player's looking to start their campaign of good. A lot is at stake and with Kyrgios being the top seed it won't be an easy job.
