Novak Djokovic will be facing Stefanos Tsitsipas in the quarterfinals at the Paris Masters as he still chases Rafael Nadal for year-end no.1.

It was another victory in 2 sets for Djokovic against Edmund. The Serbian won 7-6 and 6-1 in an hour and 23 minutes. Djokovic won 9 out of the last 10 matches in 2 sets. The only match he lost was against Tsitsipas who he will be facing in quarterfinals. After his 3rd round match he said:
“I was feeling energy-wise better and felt more alert, just more strength, more energy, more speed. I didn't play so well, I think, from baseline in the first set. I served well. That got me to the tie-break,” Djokovic said.
“Second set was the best set I've played so far in the tournament. Finished off with a winner, finished off with amazing return game. So of course the sensation is very positive. And I'm convinced that I'm headed in the right direction so that tomorrow will be even better.”
Tsitsipas is one of the next generation players and is improving day by day. This season, Tsitsipas won 9 of the 12 quarterfinal matches and is aiming for 3rd win against Djokovic in their 4th match. Djokovic spoke about Tsitsipas:
“Obviously he's one of the best players in the world. He's already an established player. He's all-around player, plays very well on all surfaces,” Djokovic said.
